The Carabinieri of the Messina Centro Company have implemented an order of the precautionary measure of placement in the community, issued by the GIP of the Juvenile Court of Messina, against three minors (between 16 and 17 years old) of Egyptian origin, as they are under investigation, in compliance with the presumption of not guilty until a final sentenceas the alleged perpetrators of the crimes of aggravated robbery and personal injury against a sixteen-year-old.
The precautionary measure arises from the investigative activity, carried out by the Carabinieri Messina Arcivescovado Station, started immediately after the complaint filed by the minor from Messina who had reported having been attacked, in the evening, in a very central street in Messina (between Via Nicola Fabrizi and Piazza Cairoli), with kicks and punches, by three young people who, armed with an iron bar, had robbed him of his hat and his smartphone, also causing him minor injuries.
The investigations developed on the basis of the statements made by the victim and the analysis of the videos extrapolated from the surveillance systems located in the place where the events took place, allowed the police to trace the identity of the three foreign minors as the alleged perpetrators of the crimes . On the basis of the investigative elements acquired, the police tracked down the alleged perpetrators of the robbery and found, in the possession of one of them, the smartphone belonging to the attacked minor.
