The 5 Star Mass Movement announces the continuation of the initiative aimed at reopening the historic EVAM public fountain. In a climate of renewed commitment to the well-being of citizens and the protection of local traditions, a new appointment to collect signatures will be held on Saturday 30 March 2024, at the Marina di Massa pier, from 9.30 to 13.00. This initiative reiterates the importance of the right to access water, a common good essential for life. The EVAM fountain, more than a simple water dispenser, represents a symbol for the community of Massa, embodying the values of solidarity and sharing. Despite continuous requests from citizens and the 5 Star Movement, Mayor Persiani has not yet provided concrete answers or reopened the fountain, thus denying the community a fundamental service. The 5 Star Movement invites all citizens of Massa to actively participate in the collection of signatures on Saturday 30 March. Only through community support and joint action will it be possible to exert effective pressure to ensure the transparency and immediate action required. The participation of each citizen is fundamental; together we can reaffirm the value of public water as everyone’s undisputed heritage.
