We are looking for young people (without experience) for two shows in Palermo: how to participate

The Rock10elode association promotes two projects which involve the creation of shows written and performed by young people between 16 and 25 years old at the Jolly Theater in Palermo.

“The Music that Unites” and “EduShow” are two initiatives that intend to encourage youth participation, the development of creativity among the new generations and the valorization of young talents.

For these reasons, the activities are open to all children (actors and singers) who have an interest in the world of music and entertainment.

The project “The Music that Unites“, promoted by the Rock10eLode association in partnership with the “Ernesto Basile” State Scientific High School and with the Department of Architecture of the University of Palermo (Course of Studies in Building Engineering – Architecture), involves the creation of a musical show, written and performed by the students of the “E. Basile” which has as its protagonist the Maredolce Castle, located in the Brancaccio district of Palermo.

In particular, the initiative intends to highlight the beauty of the Sicilian Arab-Norman treasures and promote young people’s awareness of the numerous riches preserved in the territory in which they live.

“EduShow“, however, is promoted by the Association for Social Mobilization in collaboration with Rock10elode, as part of the Erasmus+ program.

The objective of the project is the promotion, in the form of a musical show written and created by the young participants, of an awareness and information campaign on the importance of civic and social commitment and on the themes of sustainability and participation in life local and European democracy.

Both projects are part of the numerous initiatives carried out by the Rock10elode association, a MIUR accredited body that works to promote and enhance young talents, also through international exchanges.

The mission of the organization focuses on the passion for music, understood as a tool for sharing and free creativity. The activities are free and open to all young actors and singers aged between 16 and 25.

A professional background is not necessary, but interest in the field of music and entertainment is essential, as well as constant participation in the rehearsals which will take place in the month of April in the afternoon.

The shows are scheduled for 30 April 2024 (“EduShow”) and 8 May 2024 (“La Musica che Unisce”) at 10.30, in the Jolly Theater in Palermo.
