Viterbo – We receive and publish – The passion for dance makes its way to Viterbo with the start of registration for the prestigious Dance city of Viterbo competition which takes place on June 1, 2024 at the San Leonardo theatre. Registrations opened on March 20th and will close on May 10th 2024.
The event is open to the public: at 9.30 am on June 1st Aerial dance; at 2.45 pm dance competition in the city of Viterbo, with various categories competing. For dancers, a free aerial dance master class is scheduled for 10.30 in the Gatti room, conducted by the well-known maestro Massimo Bello.
The event enhances all artistic expressions of dance, welcoming styles ranging from the grace of classical ballet, to the energy of hip hop and the spectacular nature of aerial dance.
In past years it has taken place in large Italian cities. The city of Viterbo will also finally have this event, offering dancers the opportunity to get involved.
The competition announcement provides details on the admitted disciplines, the judging criteria and the age categories for participants. It is essential to remember that the national selections are open to everyone, aged 6 and over, with the obligation to present a medical certificate of sporting fitness.
The registration fee varies according to the category and there are discounted rates for Aics members, other Eps, other associations and federations. The winners of the national selections will receive certificates of participation and special prizes for the first three classified in each discipline and age category, as well as the possibility of competing in the international final in Montecatini Terme in December 2024. The possibility for dancers to qualify is underlined for the international final with scholarships, intended for the most promising dancers.
Internationally renowned experts such as Cristina Amodio, Massimo Bello, Angelo Egarese, Kevin Peci, teacher Giannella Sensi, Yoana, make up the jury, guaranteeing an impartial and professional evaluation of the performances.
In the setting of the Bistrot Theatre, enriching the experience, participants during the break will be able to delight in a selection of dishes prepared on site.
