There are 1200 books given to children and young people in the pediatric department of the Santa Maria delle Croci Hospital in Ravenna, to the Community Paediatrics and to the Emergency Department, thanks to the solidarity initiative “Help us grow. Give us a book” promoted by the “Giunti Al Point”.

An awareness campaign, now in its fourteenth edition, which in front of over 260 “Giunti Al Punto” bookshops throughout Italy has collected 3,045,754 books donated to hospital, school and cultural institutions in Italy.

For the second consecutive year, thanks to the initiative, the Ravenna hospital also received a gift of books for its young patients.

With an even stronger response than the previous year, many people, including Ravenna residents and tourists, gave books to the children of the hospital’s pediatric department, thus giving them the opportunity to broaden their daily lives, to color and make them at least a little lighter. reality through the power of imagination.

The Paediatrics staff and the Management expressed their full appreciation, with heartfelt thanks to the Giunti Bookshop and to all the citizens who contributed to this initiative, which is also truly important to reiterate and encourage reading among children, from an early age.
