Descriptive text here

You enter a restaurant, you don’t know anyone, five minutes pass and you are already chatting with all the dinner participants as if you had known each other for a long time. ‘The Strangers’ Dinner’ is a recreational-gastronomic initiative that takes place in various Italian cities and from Friday 29 March it will also be in Aosta.

“Born in 2002 from an idea by Roberto Dellanotte – we read in a note – The Strangers’ Dinner is the longest running ‘social dinner’ in Italy, it is not the usual dinner for singles, it is not a speed date, it is not the usual meeting place for broken hearts…It’s a fun dinner attended to make new friends, to escape loneliness and to spend a pleasant evening in the company of many new people.”

An entirely Italian idea “and not imported (as often happens) – continues the organizers’ statement – a tradition that we have in our hearts and in our blood, good food and good company, two pleasures that must be shared, even among strangers. In fact : If we find ourselves sitting at dinner with lots of new people who just like us want to socialize… what success rate will we have in making new friends?”.

After a simple online booking on the site www.lacenadeglisscienzauti.com you must show up on the date indicated directly at the restaurant. The restaurant staff will accompany participants to the tables reserved for the occasion. There are no placeholders and there are no particular rules, each participant chooses their place based on their tastes, instincts and sensations.

“Trying to maintain a certain alternation between men and women – we read in the note – the objective is to socialise, broaden the circle of friendships, escape loneliness but above all… leave the house”.
