Grosseto. For the Scriabin Concert Series on Saturday 30 March there is Stefano Scalise. In the Bigi church, at 6pm, the public will be able to listen to music by Mozart and Beethoven. The appointment of the Scriabin musical association, chaired by maestro Antonio Di Cristofano, is organized with the Le Clarisse cultural center of the Grosseto Cultura Foundation.
The entrance is 10 euros (reduced 8 euros for members of the Grosseto Cultura Foundation and the Città di Grosseto Symphony Orchestra and special reduced price 5 € for the students of the “Palmiero Giannetti” municipal musical institute) and includes a visit to the Luzzetti Museum. Stefano Scalise
Stefano Scalise was born in Prato in 2001. He has always had a great passion for the piano, he completed his high school studies privately and studied composition with Roberto Becheri. His piano teachers were his father Raffaele, Riccardo Marchi and Sabrina Lanzi. He graduated from the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland in Lugano in the class of maestro Mauro Harsch. He won first prize in the category for piano and orchestra at the “European music competition 2019” in Moncalieri.
He also won the first prize in his category at the solo piano competitions of San Vincenzo and Albenga in 2016, the first overall prize in 2019 at Mercato San Severino, San Ferdinando di Puglia, again Albenga. Already from the age of fifteen he performed in various concerts both in Italy and abroad: Sobrio (Switzerland), Lviv (Ukraine) and Usti nad Labem (Czech Republic) and, more recently, in the repertoire for piano and orchestra, he performed Mozart in Prague, Lviv and Florence.
He is highly regarded and in demand as a pianist in various chamber music groups and also as a composer; he also has a special talent for classical improvisation. He is a student of Boris Berman at the Accademia del Ridotto in Stradella.
