Issuing passports, the Novara Police Headquarters activates the priority agenda

Very long waiting times for the issuance of the passport and the Novara Police Headquarters launches a special procedure priority agenda. «Thanks to the new technological implementation developed by the National Electronic Center of the State Police the problem will probably be resolved expanding the reception of online applications, even urgent ones, providing an additional tool that allows users to book easily “without stress”” says the Police Headquarters.

The procedure for obtaining a priority appointment is available on the State Police website and can be reached at the link https://passaportonline.poliziadistato.it. The latter offers only citizens resident in the province, who need to leave within 30 days and have not found a useful date to present the request through the ordinary agenda, the possibility of requesting a priority appointment, such as to allow you to receive the travel document in times compatible with your needs.

Once you have obtained the emergency appointment online, you will have to go to the Police Headquarters at the time and on the day indicated in the booking, presenting the documentation certifying the urgency for work, health, study or tourism reasons. (in the latter case it will be necessary to have the departure ticket).

In addition to this possibility, in the event that an available appointment is not found with the priority agenda, the citizen will automatically be directed to a further alternative which involves filling out a form to be printed and shown at the Passport Office of the Police Headquarters in the event that there is a need to obtain a passport within 15 days. In the latter case, an appointment with a pre-established date will not be made, but the user can show up at the Police Headquarters on any day from Monday to Friday during the morning opening hourswhere the documentation certifying the priority will be verified (e.g. departure tickets with imminent dates) and the request will be processed based on the need represented.

From last week, available appointments in the priority diary will be inserted monthly. The Passport Office of the Novara Police Headquarters in addition to the standard opening hours, it has arranged additional opening hours to the public for the priority agenda.

During office hours, for any need or problem, the Passport Office operators will be available to users.

Currently open to the public: from Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm and from 3pm to 6pm; Friday from 9am to 1pm.
