Inside Out 2, here are the Emotions that were cut from the Pixar film!

A handful of new Emotions have popped up in Riley’s mind headquarters in Inside Out 2the sequel to Pete Docter’s blockbuster Inside Out. After having met the main Emotions in the first chapter, now confusion reigns in the girl’s daily life but several of them have been excluded.

Could Inside Out 3 be made or will the franchise end with the second chapter? Meanwhile, in a recent interview, the screenwriter of the film Me LeFauverevealed some characters and ideas that were discarded from the final cut:“We had an idea fisherman called Gail, and we went to the Facts and Opinions factory and saw how they were created. And it was super fun. I think, emotionally, we really tried for a while to get Shame into the film, and Guilt. Shame was more self-critical, that thing that attacks you. And we talked to a lot of experts about that. The difference with shame is that it’s not really a good thing for you because it’s just attacking yourself. Whereas Guilt is about taking responsibility and it’s a behavior, not who you are.”.

However, the situation was too crowded and it wouldn’t work:“We really needed to focus on Anxiety and it started to bifurcate the plot too much. But I think we all have that inner critic in our heads, and we were able to explore that a little bit through the screenings and a little bit through how Anxiety can start to do that. So, I think that’s in the film but it was something we explored and ultimately didn’t feel was fruitful for this version.”.

Director Kelsey Mann would have instead wanted to include the Country of Procrastinationanother of the ideas that were cut from the final version.
