Meghan Markle’s father and King Charles are in the same boat. Thomas Markle, father of the former actress who married Prince Harry with whom she initiated a traumatic separation of the royal scion from the family, points the finger at the couple. The parent and daughter have long had a stormy relationship. The man’s greatest regret is not having met his grandchildren Lilibet and Archie. “The King and I have been treated with contempt – Markle declared to the Daily Mail – Neither of us deserves the treatment we have received. Why did they treat me and not only the royal family and the King so badly?”, he asks himself, linking his fate to that of the sovereign. “Archie and Lilibet have two grandparents who want to see them, one of whom is the king of England”, he remarks in conversation with the British tabloid.
The Duchess of Sussex’s father then reveals: “Harry is looking for a new home in Great Britain, but Meghan is not happy.” His statements come after rumors that Charles III is increasingly intent on having a real relationship with his two grandchildren who live in America, so much so that he is planning an official visit to the United States to create the conditions for a meeting.
