Sport, nutrition and physical well-being: experts compared

TERMOLI. This morning, in the municipal auditorium in via Elba, there is a conference dedicated to the important link between sport, nutrition and physical well-being. The event organized by the Molise Rights and Freedom Studies Center brought together industry experts, athletes and enthusiasts to discuss and explore the best practices for maximizing sports performance through correct nutrition.

The conference aims to provide a broad overview of the influence of nutrition on sports performance, with particular attention to the different nutritional needs in relation to different types of physical activity.

The conference saw the participation of Sara Rucci (nutritionist), Danilo Nibaldi (physiotherapist), Germano Guerra (professor at the University of Molise), Marco Santucci (Italian university beach volleyball champion and former Serie A and Super League player ) and Vincenzo Di Pinto (Volleyball coach); speakers who shared their experiences and will provide practical advice to improve performance through correct nutrition and correct sporting activity.

Speaking for institutional greetings were the councilor for culture of Termoli Michele Barile, also in the role of president of the Molise Rights and Freedoms study centre, the president of Coni Molise Vincenzo D’Angelo and the honorary president of Lilt Campobasso Giovanni Fabrizio. Also present was the undersecretary to the presidency of the regional council Vincenzo Niro.

What emerges strongly is the need to collaborate between different disciplines and sectors to promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. Only through the synergy between athletes, nutritionists, health professionals and political decision makers can we hope to create an environment conducive to everyone’s well-being.

We therefore conclude this conference with a renewed commitment to promoting sport, nutrition and well-being in our community and beyond.
