From Friday 28 June it will be available in digital stores ”HEARTBEAT”(Beat Sound/Ada Music Italy), the singer-songwriter’s new single Chiara Crystal, produced by Beppe Stanco, which represents the beginning of a new chapter in his artistic journey.
Chiara talks about her new single like this: ”Batticuore is a song with pop sounds, a journey between fantasy and reality, which takes place in one evening. A love story first with ourselves, with our freedom to experience beautiful, intense and strong emotions that make our hearts beat and make us feel free to be what we want”.
Heartbeat is a photo taken when you meet, for the first time, the person who will make your heart beat and, in your mind, you already build the melody of your story, a bit like in fairy tales and you know that all this will definitely make noise.
The song will be included in the next recording project. which will see several new releases throughout the year.
Chiara Patalano, this is the real name of Chiara Crystal, is a singer-songwriter born in 1995 who, after dancing for several years, graduating in modern dance in 2019, starts singing and obtains a diploma with Loretta Martinez’s VMS method.
He writes songs, inspired on the one hand by Italian songwriting and on the other by American “pop stars”. Music is a bit like “my salvation and my mission in life: it is the means par excellence that allows me to express myself and communicate to others my vision of life and my little inner world and to be a support for those who have less strength, but a lot of sensitivity.” This is how she herself describes her relationship with music.
In February 2020, his first single “Un Particolare” was released with Sonos Music Records (Maffucci Music Record Label), the song is largely autobiographical and introspective. In April 2020, in the midst of the lockdown period, I published “Come in un film”, a song about Covid-19 that addresses young people and their future in the times of the pandemic. And in July 2020, I published my second official single entitled “Namacissi”, (an acronym for Non Andare Mai A Cercare I Sintomi Su Internet), a concept taken from the TV series Skam Italia, and modeled by the artist, referring to hypochondriac people who at the beginning of Covid-19 went looking for the symptoms of the virus on various search engines, so it is a song with a much lighter and more ironic vein.
In February 2021 my latest work “Gola” was released, which has been defined by many as a sort of “medicine song”. The song saw the collaboration with the well-known maestro Adriano Pennino who has been working for years with many big names in Italian music such as Giorgia, Renato Zero, Ornella Vanoni, Gigi D’Alessio, Arisa, who took care of the arrangement of the song. “Gola” is the minimalist synthesis of “Un nodo alla gola”, and refers to the artist’s personal experience; it talks about panic attacks, difficulties in general and the search for light, even in the shadow of our ghosts
In July 2021, ”Silene” arrives, a true hymn to diversity, to the uniqueness of each of us. The title refers to the Silene plant, a herbaceous plant with various beneficial, therapeutic properties, which is not striking to the eye but which has its usefulness and uniqueness in the world, just like us beings in the world. In a period where we are fighting to restore normality to what for centuries has been seen as abnormal, Silene wants to be a “cry” of strength and courage for those who feel different, in gender, in the way of living their sexuality but also for those who feel powerless in fighting for their dreams, those who live on the outskirts and do not know how to emerge, those who feel alone, oppressed, those who cannot find their way. Silene is each of us, with all our beauty and uniqueness.
In August 2022 “Lucciole” was released, a song that was born after a particular period for the artist: after a phase of transition from a period of chaos to one of artistic and personal maturation. The song is also innovative from the point of view of sound because it creates a particular mood that almost goes in a loop and propagates until the end of the song and will leave you enraptured.
In 2023 Mezzaluna arrives and starts the collaboration with the producer Beppe Stanco. Mezzaluna is a song with fresh sounds that tells of love and its evolution, focusing on the difference between the two lovers, metaphorically seen as two distant and at times “broken” planets that only after having met deeply are able to recognize each other beyond their differences and in doing so they are able to accept each other and feel love. In the summer of 2023 it is the opening song for the concerts of The Kolors and Matteo Paolillo.
