The young actress has in fact shared some photos with the producer Anna Blundell who, according to gossip, has been her girlfriend for about a year. “Happy to enter this new joyful era,” she writes in the caption alongside a flaming heart and a rainbow flag, playing with the title of a newspaper article – reported with a screenshot – on the “new joyful era of lesbian fashion.”
Three weeks ago, in her Instagram story, she had herself photographed with the book How to be gay, by David Halperin, wishing “happy Pride” to all her followers. Which is around 50 thousand.
Career as an actress
Louisa Jacobson has chosen to give up the surname of both her mother and her father, the sculptor Don Gummer, but in recent years she has been gaining attention thanks to her performance in The Gilded Age, the series from Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes. She approached acting relatively late, after completing her psychology studies and working for a few years in an advertising agency. Her turning point came thanks to the American Drama Academy in Oxford and – above all – the Yale School of Drama where she obtained a master’s degree. Two years ago, then, the explosion thanks to the HBO TV series.
Brothers
The brothers are all artists: Henry (42) is a musician, while his older sisters Grace (35) and Mamie (38, actress, recently seen alongside their mother in Where We Were Left) are actresses. She, as her stage name, chose to drop her maternal surname and instead use her middle name, which does not make her immediately traceable to her family clan.
