One of the men who radically changed the culinary world with tasty and refined recipes brought to the table of Italians and Americans was himself, the great Joe Bastianich. His face was appreciated and known thanks to the famous Masterchef Italia program where he was and is currently part of the coaches. Unfortunately, however, terrible news hit him and tore him to pieces: here’s what happened.
Initially, although the world of catering was his greatest passion, Joe Bastianich began working for a short period in a bank; Realizing that this wasn’t his path, he abandons it to pursue his dream within the world of culinary cuisine and catering.
In the 1998, Joe joins the very famous chef Mario Batali to open the Babbo Restaurant and Wine Shop, which the New York Times gave him two stars. Thanks to their shared passion, the two opened seven other restaurants together in America including she Wolf, Bait, Mono House, Bar Jamon, Eight, Local and in 2010 together with Oscar Facchinetti, Eataly.
Success in Italy, however, came thanks to his participation in the well-known program Masterchef Italy from 2011 to 2019 and previously always as a judge, a Masterchef USA. Also, Joe opened his own first restaurant also in Italy, precisely in Milan and defined it as “not just a space in which to drink and eat but a place made up of cultural events, exhibitions, book presentations, workshops, meetings and artistic installations”.

As we usually say, “the customer is always right” and this is the motto that, apparently, all restaurateurs must take upon themselves to highlight peculiarities or, on the contrary, negative points. This time, it really happened to the great chef Joe Bastianich and his very famous Joe’s American BBQ restaurant.
A user, on the well-known Tripadvisor website, dedicated mostly to restaurants and pizzerias but above all to reviews about the quality of the food, the service and so on and so forth, certainly did not go lightly and the well-known chef having more than 4 Michelin stars in New York has really cornered it with a very negative review.
As can be seen from the Screen just posted, the well-known user gave one star to quality, atmosphere, food, service, adding photos and a bitter description. It is read: “Very bad, the meat is full of sweetish marinades of poor quality. Everything is served cold including the burgers. Never again”.
