Antonella Clerici seems to have found her serenity next to Vittorio, the man capable of making her heart beat again after the disappointment of the past. “I had two husbands and then Eddy, my daughter’s dad. I’m someone who has always started again, but with Vittorio (Garrone, ed.) it’s the right time”said the presenter who dreams of getting married with her current partner.
The desire to grow old next to the man she loves is accompanied by that of seeing her daughter Maelle, who has reached the age of adolescence and of whom Clerici is very proud, be fulfilled. “The teachers tell me that she is always cheerful, has this ringing ‘good morning’, is kind and never arrogant, does her best for others and never says that she is my daughter so as not to have advantages”says Antonella who also underlines how young Maelle has a strong passion for music. Antonella Clerici’s proverbial smile has been questioned several times over the years. Not everyone knows, in fact, the various difficulties that the presenter had to face. Interviewed by the weekly magazine Chi revealed the most difficult moments of his career. “When I was a sports presenter I was excluded from the Dribbling team for the ’90 World Cup, but then Enrico Mentana called me back otherwise I would have stopped and gone back to studying to become a magistrate”he said.
One episode in particular hurt her deeply but at the same time gave her the strength to get back into the game. When she knew, in fact, that she was pregnant with Maelle, she had to face exclusion from the programs she was hosting on Rai. “When I got pregnant they killed me there. Luckily I hosted Sanremo and my prices went back up.”declared Clerici.
