The journalist and commentator of L’Isola dei Famosi, Dario Maltese, has revealed who he thinks will win the eighteenth edition of the reality show.
The journalist and current commentator of the eighteenth edition of The Island of the Famous, Dario Maltese, guest together with Sonia Bruganelli in the last appointment with Casa SDL has revealed who could triumph in the adventure game of Channel 5which will decide the castaway winner of the edition next Wednesday 5 June.
Isola 2024, Dario Maltese: “For me the winner is Edoardo Franco”
Five competitors are competing for the scepter: Edoardo Stoppa, Arthur Dainese, Alvina Verecondi Scortecci, Aras Senol, Edoardo Franco and Samuel Peron. If Stoppa seems the crowd’s favourite, Maltese mentioned the name of an outsider who also proved to be the best strategist, namely the former winner of the twelfth edition of MasterChef, Edward Franco.
Here are the journalist’s words:
“For me, the winner is Edoardo Franco, because he demonstrated that he is a great strategist as he should be. However, he implemented his strategy with great intelligence, great subtlety, without fumbles. He was truly a very refined strategist .
In my opinion, the losers of the island are those who chose to leave the game. Whoever chose to take a step back is a loser for me. Edoardo might apparently seem like the naive one, who doesn’t know the medium of television, who doesn’t know the strategies, but it’s exactly the opposite. Where he is, what he is doing and what his goal is. He was very good. Another one to keep an eye on in my opinion is Aras. Aras could be another winner. Shut up too and taaaaac!”
Maltese a vote was then given in the role of commentator, he gave it to his colleague Bruganelli and finally to the presenter, Vladimir Luxuria:
“What rating would I give to myself? Let’s start with the presenter. I give the presenter a good 9 because it takes great courage to launch herself into a completely new challenge. It’s true that she knows the island as a shipwrecked and sent one, but being the master of It’s very different at home. There’s a different pressure and responsibility. So I think she showed great courage and I think she handled it very well. So I don’t give her a 10 because 10 is perfection and for me perfection doesn’t exist. I also give Sonia a 9 because you know that car very well, Sonia she’s very good. She manages to warm up the studio, to divide, so good. Since I hate fake modesty, I give myself an 8. I’m certainly not as familiar with the genre as Sonia or Vladimir but I think it took me a few episodes to understand where I fit in. I found, understand the dynamics and at that point throw myself in, let myself go.”
