She didn’t win but she was undoubtedly one of the undisputed protagonists of Dancing with the Stars 2025. Martina Colombari, 50 years old, is enjoying a rediscovered popularity. Always next to her is her husband Billy Costacurta. Together they faced hard times (especially for the health of their son Achille) and now, more united than ever, they savor a new happiness.
The former Miss Italia, in fact, was not only a much-loved contestant on the program hosted by Milly Carlucci, but is also in the cast of “Buen Camino”, the new film with Checco Zalone as the protagonist (directed by Gennaro Nunziante). Costacurta also expressed his opinion in this regard. The latter, without mincing words, did not spare criticism from the press with a clear reference to the film which is becoming a hit in Italian cinemas.
The little scene with the husband
In an Instagram story published by Colombari today 29 December, the former Miss is in the car with her husband and turns to him saying: “Are you surprised, love?”. He then bitingly: “I’m surprised that the newspapers are referring to Checco’s film when interviewing you.” “With gray hair – she says -, in 20 years I will be like this”. “In 40 years, how much do you bet on it? Trust me. I won’t be able to see you but you will be like this”, says Costacurta (59 years old). “I’ll put myself in a hyperbaric chamber starting tomorrow”, her ironic comment.
“Buen Camino”, the new film by Checco Zalone between scratch and good feelings
Martina Colombari acts alongside Checco Zalone: “I liked transforming myself”
The question and answer arises from an interview that Colombari gave to Messaggero today (“Those who criticize Zalone’s film are envious. Dancing with the Stars? Wonderful”, the title of the article). Here the actress also spoke about Zalone’s film (which continues to be a huge success at the box office and in which Colombari plays the role of Linda). The former Miss explained, among other things, the transformation (complete with gray hair) to take on the role of the character.
“I had a lot of fun, I liked transforming myself. And to think that at the audition Checco and Nunziante were almost afraid to ask me to make myself ugly. They asked me if I was willing to forget today’s Martina – the words of the actress -. I am happy to give up my beauty or put it in the background: even in theatrical comedy Steel Flowers I played Anna, a modest character. A beautiful actress is condemned to play the man-eating fatale. But it is an all-Italian stereotype that has prevented me from opportunities.”
