The poorly managed bonus announcement, which was also changed thanks to the report of one of our readers, at the beginning of 2024 generated less than 5,500 applications for just over 6 million euros awarded. More than 70 million euros not spent. With the paradox that 1.6 million went to Invitalia to manage the measure. In short, almost a third for management.
Then, given the tight deadlines, an attempt was made to remedy this with a new call for tenders in February 2024 (read here) but reserved only for those who had completed the installation in 2023 but were unable to access the contribution. A delirium.
The true 2024 announcement on the bonus is ready but not operational, we wrote about it in recent days (read here), and we need to prepare. Given the success of ban on electric cars – even if 40% of vehicles have been booked by companies – there will be no shortage of requests.

But before the new announcement comes the details of control measures for those who received the contribution in 2023. They can be read in a decree from the Ministry of Business. “THE controls are carried out on a sample basis, within the maximum limit of 10% of the disbursements made“.
But in case the verified sample “returns a percentage of deliberate revocations greater than 30%, the analysis will be extended up to a maximum of 20% of disbursements carried out“. Translated: one beneficiary in 10 will be checked, but if too many irregularities emerge the scrutiny will pass one practice in five.
What is checked? All documents to prepare for the bonus
Invitalia will take care of it of a documentary analysis and the declarations will be examined, i expense documents and also payment traceability. There has been no shortage of doubts about the latter from the beneficiaries who have written to us several times (read here).
And if the call times are tight and slow, to respond to the request you have to be careful as we read in the decree: “Within ten days from receipt of the communication referred to in paragraph 3, under penalty of revocation of the contributionthe beneficiary transmits, a by certified email (PEC) to the address «[email protected]», in PDF format, the requested documentation“.
