Possibility of growth, employee mobility and friendships between colleagues. These are some of the distinctive features of the 25 companies where according to LinkedIn people work best in Italy. The annual ranking of the social network dedicated to work and professions has classified the top companies based on eight criteria that favor the possibility for workers to make a career: the ability to advance, the increase in skills, business stability, external opportunity, business affinity, gender diversity, educational background and the quantity of employed in the country.
With “advancement ability”, the social network measured the ease with which employees were able to obtain promotions or move to new realities. LinkedIn then monitored the “increase in skills” based on those considered as standards. To evaluate “company stability” he observed the abandonment rates of the last year and the percentage of those who remained. We also looked at the opportunity to be attractive to external recruiters and corporate affinity, understood as connections on LinkedIn between employees. The social company then examined the number of employees, gender equality and educational backgrounds among workers, who have varying levels of education, from diploma to doctorate.
