With this type of appliance you immediately find yourself in trouble. Check if yours is also among those that need to be thrown away.

There are so many Italians who see it increase the cost of your bills, which have now become expensive and often difficult to combat. Unfortunately, the energy consumption of many household appliances can only be the cause of the lack of energy efficiency.

This also depends on some choices we make based on the purchase, i.e. choosing a specific model, a brand and above all the age of the appliance. In fact, many people also usually buy used models to save (only initially) on costs.

Let’s start from washing machine which has a consumption that can vary based on the model and above all on the program used. Let’s consider that its average annual consumption is between 30 and 150 kWh per year, absolutely not a little.

By now, too the dishwasher, with the same average consumption as the washing machineis widely used in Italian homes, especially in the larger ones where the need for help to wash numerous dishes, pots and cutlery is increasingly felt.

The crazy consumption of household appliances

Instead, between 0.5 and 1.5 kWh for each hour of use is the energy consumption of the vacuum cleaner. Obviously their consumption varies both based on the engine power and the duration of use. If you use bagless ones, they save more energy.

Also television has a consumption that can vary greatly, reaching up to 250 kWh per year. Certainly, however, the appliance that consumes the most of all those mentioned is the refrigerator. Indeed, its average consumption can vary from 100 to 600 kWh per year, this also depends on the size but not only. Let’s find out in detail what to do to save on bills.

Don’t buy a G-Class refrigerator

In fact, before purchasing a similar appliance, but also others mentioned above such as the oven, you should choose an energy class other than G, as it is the least efficient and involves greater consumption. Usually, the most efficient ones are: A, A+, A++ and A+++.

If when you go to a specialized shop there is no manager able to provide immediate information, certainly on the product label there will be a QR code that you can scan and discover the energy class of the appliance in question. If you had the opportunity to interface with an expert on the subject, you could request some advice on the product which, from a quality-price point of view, offers more guarantees.
