Article 58 of the Consolidated Law for the regulation of the quality of the urban waste management service (TQRIF) provides that by 31 March of each year, starting from 2024, the manager communicates to the Authority and the territorially competent body the total number of users served, updated as of 31 December of the previous year, divided by type (domestic and non-domestic), as well as information and data relating to services subject to general quality levels, as recorded pursuant to article 56.
The same article 58 provides that, only for the managements falling within Scheme I, for which general quality levels are not foreseen, in addition to the number of users the manager sends a report, signed by his legal representative, certifying compliance with the obligations of service.
The sending of the requested information and data, which allows interested parties to fulfill the obligations established by the TQRIF, must be carried out no later than the date of May 31, 2024, via the portal specifically created on the Authority’s website. The opening date of the collection will be indicated in a subsequent press release on the ARERA website, in any case guaranteeing interested operators adequate time (equal to at least 30 days) to fulfill the communication obligations in question.
Finally, it is considered appropriate to specify that, for the purposes of participating in the data collection in question, managers are previously required to comply with the communication obligations for the implementation of the Territorial Waste Registry (ATRIF) referred to in resolution 263/2023/ E/ref.
