OSTUNI – Patrick Zaki and Carlo Cottarelli will be among the guests of the literary festival ‘An emotion called book which will be held in Ostuni from 3 July. It will be Zaki’s book ‘Dreams and illusions of freedom. My story will open the exhibition at 9pm in the cloister of Palazzo San Francesco.
Among the events scheduled, the presentation on July 8 of Luca Bizzarri’s new book ‘Non hanno un amicò. On July 10, another new novel between music and words: Luca Bianchini with ‘Il cuore è uno zingarò. On July 18, space for current events with Carlo Cottarelli and his book ‘Dentro il palattò. The three events will be held at 9 pm in the San Francesco cloister.
The literary event of Ostuni has reached its 29th edition and the first initiatives are already underway to celebrate in 2025 the thirtieth anniversary of an event directed for 18 years by the journalist and writer Anna Maria Mori, who this year was awarded the honorary president of the festival by the association ‘Una Valle di Libri’, which organizes the event for the third year.
Among the new features for 2024 is the opening of a section dedicated to Apulian authors called ‘Radici di Puglia’. In recent weeks the event has already been presented in the ‘Lights on festivals’ section of the Turin Book Fair.
