Arezzo, 14 June 2024 – The Municipality of Cortona digitizes book coupons for the free supply of school books to primary school pupils residing in the municipal area.
Starting from the 2024/2025 school year, this municipal administration has chosen to digitize management with the “Cedole Librarie Online” service by @ComuneFacile. The digitalisation of book coupons represents a significant step forward towards a more efficient public administration and an improvement in the service offered to citizens.
Families will no longer have to worry about handing in paper coupons to purchase school books, but will simply need to show the student’s tax code to the staff of the affiliated bookshops for the 2024/2025 school year, attached to the press release. Once registered on the platform, the retailer will be able to book and subsequently deliver the requested books.
The municipal administration suggests that parents request a digital receipt of the dematerialized coupon when booking the texts, leaving their email address to the book retailer. We inform you that the platform will be accessible starting from July 2024 and it will be the responsibility of the Municipality of Cortona to communicate the exact date from which the system can be operational.
