“Italské Mentolky” (in Italian: “Le mentine Italiane”) by the Czech writer Marta Kucikova will be the protagonist book of the meeting scheduled at Caffè Astra at the Duomo of Florence in via de’ Cerretani 56/5 on Wednesday 5 June at 6pm in collaboration with the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic for Tuscany and Arca. He’ll talk about it Marta Kucikova, an author who composes kind and funny observations about the daily life of a Czech woman living with her family in the foothills of the Italian Dolomites, with a soft spot for her native town Telč. For her kind observations on Italians and for the development of Czech-Czech relationsItalians received state honors: the silver medal of Jan Masaryk and the honorary prize of the city of Telč.
