The three appointments, the book by Antonio Borsa

“The three appointments” is the title of Antonio Borsa’s new editorial work. An evocative title that allows us to understand the topic that readers will face, but above all, it leads us to reflect and make us understand how appointments have changed over time.

Having an appointment, especially the first one, is always difficult and at times even embarrassing, you never actually know who you will find yourself in front of and, then, when you have suffered because of a relationship that ended badly, there is the fear of asking again of trust in a new person. Due to recent crime news, the feeling of fear has increasingly expanded and Antonio Borsa’s book addresses current issues such as: gender violence or possession; the latter, although society has evolved, the fact of not accepting that a person does not “belong” to another still exists in human beings. We should, therefore, learn to leave the right freedom and the right awareness of wanting to do what we think is right, even if it is the case to end the relationship without necessarily living with the fear that something might happen. We could therefore say that “the three appointments” mentioned in the title could include: the appointment of the soul, the heart and the mind.

The idea of writing the book. The author tells

“It was born in the period in which I met a girl who made me feel again feelings of love that had been dormant for twenty years, it was love at first sight and I fought for her in every way, unfortunately it didn’t go well, I wasn’t her like and it wasn’t easy. Writing is my great passion and she helped me a lot in that difficult moment. The three appointments were born like thisfrom a personal story that I fictionalized in order to give a worthy ending to a love that didn’t deserve to disappear into oblivion.
I wanted to publish it so much because the protagonist, exactly like I did, respected his beloved even after being rejected, even being obsessed with her, he accepted the rejection and let her go as every person in the world should do. We live in an era in which we hear all kinds of things, about lovers who kill the people they say they love and in 2024 it is no longer acceptable, and books like this, which show the right way to behave when you are rejected, must act as example why feminicide must disappear from the face of the earth, never again Cecchettin cases. And moreover, the book insists on the fact that differences of all kinds must absolutely cease, the protagonist, Dorian, finds himself in a group of people completely different from him, humble people, totally opposed to his wealthy style but over time he will realize that that socio-cultural difference that exists, in reality there is not, because those people show themselves to be heartfelt, generous and altruistic and when there is heart, empathy and generosity there is no difference that matters, that whether one is straight, gay, white or black it makes no difference, if you have a pure heart, you win. And they are issues that we all must understand and learn, so that certain prejudices are silenced forever.”

Antonio Borsa, writer, pharmaceutical informant, graduate in biological sciences and in economics and management. Recently published by the publishing house La Bussola, the novel “I tre rendezvous”. He hopes to become a professor of mathematics and physics in order to be a guide for younger people, so that they not only learn the subject but also to teach them how to live in the world.
