Unusual setting for the presentation of a book, which nevertheless suits the story told. For the reflection proposed by the Medolla Cultural Center on “The Immortal Assassin” (BookRoad), the thriller by the journalist and writer from Medolla Luca Marchesi, the Oasis of San Matteo was chosen, in via Rubadello 9. The presentation of the novel it will take place under the branches of the wonderful ash tree now known to all as the Master Tree. The appointment is for Sunday 5 May at 4.00 pm. The journalist Guido Ganzerli will dialogue with the author. The initiative, with free entry, is part of the “May of books”, the national campaign promoted by the MIC and Cepell which invites us to bring books and reading to contexts other than traditional ones, to attract both strong readers , and those who could become one. Set in a quiet town in Modena, the novel immediately gets to the heart of things with the discovery of the body of a retired mathematics teacher who was brutally tortured and killed in her home. “The Immortal Assassin” is a gripping novel that keeps readers on their toes from the first pages. With his narrative mastery, Luca Marchesi paints a vivid and disturbing picture of a seemingly peaceful country that hides dark secrets. In case of bad weather the meeting will take place at the Municipal Auditorium of Medolla (via Genova, 10/a).
