In the Palazzo Leggenda village in via Paladini, the reading, listening and workshop initiatives continue as part of “Waiting for Legend”. From 1st to 15th May 2024 there will be many meetings with authors of the festival’s books which will enliven many afternoons not to be missed.

Boys and girls, boys and girls will be able to try their hand at comics workshops inspired by Luca Azzolini’s books or create musical instruments starting from Teresa Porcella’s texts. For the little ones, there will be workshops and readings starting from the books of Alberto Lot and Raffaella Bolaffio. There will be no shortage of meetings with authors, such as Silvia D’Achille, who on the morning of Saturday 4 May will lead a workshop-meeting on her book “Ma io mi bore!” at Palazzo Leggenda. published by Giunti.

PROGRAM – Thursday 2 May, at 5pm, From Book to Making. Music Maestro! How does the magician Penguin manage to restore harmony among the inhabitants of Musicé? A magic wand will be enough to make it clear that the only way to feel good together is to play in harmony. An afternoon to have fun building musical instruments and give life to a truly special concert where the notes of friendship will resonate throughout Palazzo Leggenda. Inspired by the book “Armonia” by Teresa Porcella.

Friday 3 May, at 5pm, Playing with art. Art makes the heart beat. An afternoon to discover the magic of contemporary art starting from the book The Art of Friendship by Cristina Petit. The participants will be guided in the creation of their personal work of art by following the “beats of the heart”. Artistic workshop suitable for ages 3 to 6. Reservation is recommended.

Saturday 4 May, at 10.30am, But I’m bored! Presentation of Silvia D’Achille’s book, Prince Edward, he is 6 years old and bored. He was bored yesterday, he is bored today and he will certainly be bored tomorrow. The whole court tries to find something that can interest him, that can entertain him, but to no avail, it’s an impossible task… Or not? Boredom is not something to be feared and can be transformed into an opportunity, a chance for creation, a place of one’s own to water the seeds of imagination. Playing with words and writing errors can also be an antidote to boredom. The author will prove it with a hilarious description of her work! Activity suitable for ages 5 to 8. Timoteo, the protagonist of the book Inventamondi by Luca Azzolini, knows well how powerful magic is. In his apartment building, a hint of enchantment transforms the gray walls into fantastic landscapes and the doors into portals to unknown worlds. An afternoon to bring extraordinary comics set in fantastic worlds to life. Comics workshop suitable for ages 7 to 10. Reservation is recommended.

The program continues on Wednesday 8 May, at 5pm, with A tower of stories. Legendary Adventures! The Palazzo Leggenda Tower is the perfect refuge, with shelves that are lost in the clouds and windows that look beyond time. Here, boys and girls become heroes and heroines, and stories are intertwined with their dreams. You will be able to explore magical books and meet fantastic characters who will keep you company throughout the week! Suitable reading for ages 4 to 8.

Thursday 9 May, at 5pm, From Book to Making, What word are we playing with? An afternoon dedicated to writing games, in which participants will have the opportunity to explore the power of words and look at things with freer and more creative eyes. By following the fun advice in the book Writing Games by Stefano Bordiglioni they will have fun discovering the beauty of inventing new things. Activity suitable for ages 9 to 12. Reservation is recommended.

Friday 10 May, at 5pm, again From Book to Making but with Dinosaurs and Unicorns. Arthur the unicorn loves to play pranks and Diego the dinosaur loves to take hot baths. But what if these two cute characters from Raffaella Bolaffio’s books met? Crazy creations for all boys and girls inspired by the style of Arthur and Diego. Animated reading and creative workshop suitable for ages 4 to 8. Reservation is recommended.

Saturday 11 May, at 4.15pm and 5.30pm, A tower of stories, A tutto Minibombo. Saturday afternoon is synonymous with adventures, laughter and enchanting stories. This time, the special guests are the books of Alberto Lot, a talented author and illustrator. An unforgettable adventure among clues hidden between the pages of books to solve small mysteries such as the search for missing tails. Animated readings suitable for ages 3 to 6.
