Olbia. The ministry ofEnvironment expressed a negative opinion on the environmental compatibility of the project “EnerClima 2050”on the coastal deposit of LNG and a gas-fired combined cycle power plant. The plant should have been built in Cala SaccaiaOn the way to Pittulongu, and should have been created to balance other renewable energy sources. The project was presented by Olbia Lng terminal srlan offshoot of Olbia EnerClima 50, a company 47.5% owned equally by Vittorio Marzano and from Bb energy trading, in addition to 5% of the shareholder Antonio Nicotra. The plant should then have been accompanied by an experimental culture of algae and a demonstration biogas plant. The crop waste should have been destined for biomethane recycled in a power plant or reliquefied into bio-Lng. An appeal against the denial decree is permitted Tar within 60 days, or, alternatively, extraordinary appeal to the President of the Republic within 120 days.
