Aerial images of severe flooding in Arauco, in the Biobio region of Chile, after heavy rain hit the center and south of the country. The floods caused the death of one person and damage to hundreds of homes. Chile’s meteorological service had issued the highest warning level, covering around 14 million people in six of the country’s 16 regions. Subsequently, the warning was reduced as 80% of the storm had passed and was headed towards Argentina.
