THE LED headlights have come under the radar of critics in recent months. In fact, since the beginning of 2024, news has begun to circulate which includes studies and surveys regarding the fact that they have become too dangerous for motorists.
In detail, the LED headlights would be ultra-bright and in particular in the United Kingdom a sort of crusade against them has started, with the government apparently taking into serious consideration the idea of ban them from the automotive market.
Moreover, after Brexit and its exit from the European Union, Great Britain can make its own laws, consequently it could also introduce this ban which, however, seems bizarre at the moment and which in fact it would cut all newer models off the market and above all premium, supercars and hypercars so loved across the Channel. At that point comes thejudgment” of the good Clarkson, who with his classic irreverent style comments: “I admit that this might cause the occasional accident. But if we went back to the days when car headlights were like candles in jam jars, I suspect there would be many more of them.”.
Of course, it is impossible to go against Clarkson’s views, but in any case the problem persists, especially taking into account of the high number of motorists in the survey who said he was against ultra-bright headlights: changes coming?
