There is full agreement between Italy and the United States on the need to impose sanctions on Iran for its attack on Israel. This was reported by Farnesina sources, before the bilateral meeting in Capri – on the sidelines of the G7 – between the Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajaniand the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken.
«The G7 is oriented towards trying to build peace with de-escalation after the Iranian missile attack on Israel. Yesterday I spoke about it at length with the Foreign Minister of Israel. I will also talk about it with Blinken”, confirms Tajani speaking to journalists.
«Israel has achieved a military victory» by neutralizing Iran’s attack, «now we need to see what kind of reaction there will be from the Jewish State. “We hope that prudence will always prevail,” added Tajani.
