“Like all large cities, Naples will also be paid close attention to the terrorism emergency.” Thus Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani on the sidelines of the press conference in the Neapolitan Prefecture for the organization of the G7 which will be held in Capri from 17 to 19 April 2024.
The attack in Moscow has reawakened the terrorism alarm and Naples can also be considered a sensitive target. An attention due not only to the international event on Capri, but also to the wave of tourists that will invade the city for the Easter holidays: “Especially this week – continued Tajani – places where there will be thousands of visitors, just like Naples. For the G7 Foreign Affairs, Tajani thanked the prefect of Bari: “We expect at least three hundred delegates. Sector ministers from Italy, the United Kingdom, the USA, Canada, Japan, France and Germany as well as the European Union will take part in the meeting. The event will anticipate the G7 of Heads of Government which will be held in June in Puglia. “On the table – specified Tajani – there will be highly topical issues such as the war in Ukraine, the conflict in Gaza, terrorism and tensions in the Mediterranean”.
