Abel sees Jana and Manuel embracing; Margarita accuses Cruz and Don Alonso of Fernando’s death, making the vigil private. Pia shows signs of exhaustion, but Don Romulo supports her. Cruz discovers that Ramona is better and asks Petra to investigate. Ramona thanks Jana for her help and asks her to calm Curro down. Don Alonso set the funeral for the next dayputting the servants in difficulty due to their haste. Margarita vows revenge against Cruz during the vigil.
