If the first spoilers released on One Piece 1119 have begun to unravel the enigma behind the Ancestral Robot, the integral leaks emerged in these hours on the new chapter of the manga investigate in more depth the “atavic” relationship that links the cybernetic being to Joy Boy: and from which the next developments of the work will pass.
As it was reasonable to hypothesize, the number 1119 of the manga Eiichiro Oda starts from the events observed in the (double) final image of chapter 1118. Here the giants, at the sight of two Nikas, they explode into clear expressions of joyimmediately defused by Marcus Mars’s icy commentary. “Two Nikas? This is definitely a false transformation generated by the powers of Toshi Toshi no Mi” the Star declares between the lines, an instant before attacking Elbaf’s ship by means of an energy ray launched from his oral cavity. But unlike previous situations, now Luffy he seems to have found the solution not so much to neutralize his opponent, but to repel his invectives. And after having grabbed the face of Gorosei (in a highly spectacular and ironic table) takes on the appearance of an enormous balloonwith which he will try to take some blows and then throw them back at the sender.
“These monsters can regenerate after any type of attack, so the only way we have to bypass their powers is to throw them as far away as possible” Straw Hat shouts here in the direction of Sanji, Franky and Bonney, who, urged by the pirate, unleash their attacks on the Mugiwara’s body, so that Luffy can then return them to Mars, with the Astro that it will be swept away in an instantuntil landing well beyond the shores of Egghead.
According to the leaks, Oda pauses for a moment on the actions of Atlaswith Vegapunk’s satellite body urging Sanji to escape the island (the pirate had asked where Nami’s group was) but not before warning the Mugiwara about the dangers they could face, since York can track their every single movement. And without any interruption, the mangaka shows us in a short vignette the awakening, in the depths of the sea, of the Ancestral Robotwhich is followed by the (momentary) resumption of the scientist’s message, who once again utters “messianic” words in the direction of the carriers of D. ”The thing you have inherited can be defined as a will. And I hope this message reaches those who will take up this cause”.
At this point the manga switches back to York, who warns the Gorosei about the need to get rid of the big robot completely, since the only way to stop recording is to erase both the broadcast source and the storage memory (which apparently use separate circuits). Here then the rest of the Gorosei finally comes into action, with Ju Peter which attempts to swallow Elbaf’s ship, which is followed by a sudden tirade of Warcurywhich is opposed by both Luffy and Bonney, now returned in a “childish” version.
But when the Mugiwara face the Stars, Luffy notices something in the depths of the sea. “Joy Boy” the Ancestral Robot sighs weakly, and then resurface in a spectacular final double table. “Listen to me Emeth, when the right time comes, you must…” we hear the Liberation Warrior say here in a memory belonging to the cybernetic being, who, exalted by the words of the legendary pirate, lashes out against Warcury. Each character welcomes the event with joy and amazement, especially the giants and Straw Hats, with the Mugiwara screaming at the top of his lungs “Robot!”. This exclamation on which the chapter endsand of which we will see the continuation only in two weeks, since the manga will go on hiatus after One Piece 1119.
