After a great start with three episodes released at the same time, The Boys has returned to the classic weekly frequency. Arcane
Another product that can be recovered without major difficulties, given the small number of episodes and the only season currently available, is Arcane on Netflix. The platform’s announcement, which confirmed the arrival of the second season in November 2024, sent fans of the animated series into raptures. Based on storytelling and in-depth character lore from League of Legends, Arcane focuses on the story of Jinx and Vi, two sisters who are separated and travel opposite paths in a beautifully told world.
Gen V
We forcefully return to the world of The Boys with its spin-off series Gen V. Obviously, if you love stories related to the “bad boys” of Prime Video led by Butcher, you can’t miss the TV series inspired by the events of Vaught’s young superheroes. Take a teen drama and insert it into the world of The Boys, give it a good mix and you’ll get the TV series which, like many others, convinced us and which we told you about in our review of Gen V.
Euphoria
Always about teen drama, here’s the one that has been talked about more than any other in the last five years, since it was published by HBO. Euphoria focuses on the events of a group of teenagers, victims – some more, some less – of the dynamics of adolescence. Worth mentioning is a very talented Zendaya, the absolute protagonist of the TV series together with other young and talented actors. It’s a shame that it’s now forgotten by HBO, with a third season of Euphoria less and less likely.
Halo
We conclude this small selection of shows that you should catch up on with some healthy action from the Halo serial universe. Inspired by the video game of the same name that made Master Chief famous, the TV series, available on Paramount+, focuses on the events involving the very famous Spartan John-117 and his comrades. The second season, compared to a decidedly more subdued first, brings the title back up and helps it fit into the selection of TV series to catch up on.
