RAI has always been very attentive to the broadcast of current affairs and information programs aimed precisely at informing its audience. The RAI public knows very well that these programs are broadcast in the day time slot, i.e. in the early afternoon. During the summer period the program stops to make room for Summer Live hosted by De Girolamo and Semprini.
Summer live: the news that surprises viewers!
Alberto Matano and his Live Life are on summer break and have taken over in his place Nunzia De Girolamo and Gianluca Semprini with the Summer Live program which will be broadcast throughout the summer. The first episode of Summer live aired on June 3rd and recorded almost 21% share: therefore a real start with a bang.
De Girolamo and Semprini’s program continues to do very well and continues to be the favorite of the Italian public. The excellent results of the program are then doubly appreciable if we take into account the strong competition from Simona Branchetti on Canale 5 with Pomeriggio Cinque News, and some broadcasts of the 2024 European Football Championships on Rai2 which catalyze a large part of the public.
If on the one hand, therefore, La Vita in diretta is one of Rai’s most popular programs in the winter, Estate in Diretta is among the most popular in the summer. An important news is coming precisely regarding the summer program: RAI had planned to propose a slightly longer live broadcast for the month of June, and then return to the standard duration in the following months.
For this reason, starting from next July 1st, Summer Live will return to its standard duration, and the program will start every day at 5pm, and no longer at 4pm as has happened up until now. Nunzia De Girolamo and Gianluca Semprini will therefore find themselves hosting an hour less of the program. Despite this news, the program will certainly continue to keep viewers glued to the television until next September 9th, when Life Live returns.
