After the recent scoop on the love life of The Boys’ Jack Quaid, the actress Erin Moriarty she returned to talk about the difficulties she faced due to social comments regarding her appearance.
For those who are not aware, in recent years Moriarty has been targeted on her social networks by a group of users who accused her of having resort to plastic surgery and, consequently, ruined its appearance. The Starlight interpreter, who initially decided not to give too much weight to the situation, was hit by another wave of negativity when journalist Megyn Kelly also decided to target her.
Moriarty went through an unquestionably complicated period, arriving at temporarily abandon social media due to too much pressure received. Now that the worst is over, however, the person concerned made some reflections on what happened during a recent interview with the New York Times:
“For a few months I thought my career was over […] So much attention was being given to something I was told not to address“, reveals Erin Moriarty. Who adds:
“I tried to make it clear that the comments had broken my heart […] But now I’m no longer heartbroken. I’m galvanized“.
During the chat, Morirarty confessed that she had been subjected to a lot of paparazzi lately, but the advice she received from The Boys showrunner would have helped her to turn the page.
Meanwhile, the ‘bad boys’ of Amazon Prime continue to enjoy success among critics and audiences. In fact, as we write, the Rotten Tomatoes score of The Boys 4 continues to rise, demonstrating the good workmanship of this production.
