From Sunday 16 June on Channel 5 It kicks off Family secrets (Yargı), the new Turkish television series that tells the story of the respected public prosecutor Ilgaz Kayainterpreted by Kaan Urgancıoğlualready known to the Italian public for his role as Emir Kozcuoğlu in Endless Love. The Turkish TV series will be broadcast every Sunday evening on Canale 5 and on demand on Mediaset Infinity.
Family secrets – the plot
Eldest son of police chief Metin, Ilgaz Kaya it’s a Public minister highly esteemed in the environment that believes in truth and in the justice, its maximum values. The young woman is charming, intelligent and without prejudice Erguvan, lawyer of lower rank than Ilgaz, capable of doing anything to achieve his goals, shortcuts included.
Ilgaz chooses to rely on her for the defense of his younger brother involved in a homocide. Both he and his father Metin want to know the truth about the matter, even if it concerns the boy’s guilt. Being a case delicate and complex, Ilgaz trusts in Ceylin’s unorthodox methods to discover what lies behind that murder. Thanks to this intricate case i fates of Ilgaz and Ceylin come together and find themselves caught up in a maze of mysteries which will affect both of them families.

Kaan Urgancıoğlufrom Endless Love to Family Secrets
Born onMay 8, 1981 in Izmir in a family of Turkish, Albanian and Syrian origins, at the age of 19 Kaan Urgancıoğlu he moved to Istanbul to study first finance and then cinema at the university.
It is in this period that he begins to work as actor: his passion for acting also led him to move to New York to study at Stella Adler Studio. After his return to Turkey, Kaan began playing small parts in various TV series, until he gave an important turning point to his career with the role of Emir Kozcuoğlu in Endless Love from 2015 to 2017. From 2021 he plays the role of Ilgaz Kaya, protagonist of the series Family secrets. June 19, 2023 is married with Burcu Denizer in Athens, Greece. From their union on December 8 of the same year their first was born son Ardıç.
