Vanguard – Special Agents
The first film that we recommend among those available on TV tonight is Vanguard – Special Agents which airs at 9.27pm on Italia 1. The story is that of a Chinese accountant (Jackson Lou) who lives in England and, despite himself, ends up in the sights of a terrorist cell that exploits him for reprehensible financial acts. When the threat also looms over his daughter (Zu Ruohan), who lives in Africa, the protagonist decides to hire a real bodyguard (Jackie Chan).
Ball
Appointment at 9.26pm on Iris with Ballthe film directed by Barry Levinson that tells the story of a psychologist (played by Dustin Hoffman) which works as a support for survivors of terrible accidents and various types of catastrophes. What man doesn’t expect is to be called to the middle of the ocean and have to deal with the possibility of first contact with an alien civilization. In fact, on the bottom of the ocean there is a sunken spaceship, and the protagonist will have to investigate together with three colleagues (Samuel L. Jackson, Sharon Stone And Liev Schreiber). When the four scientists find a mysterious sphere inside the spacecraft, their lives will take an unexpected turn.
The Nutty Professor
If you are among those viewers looking for a light feature film, aimed above all at making people laugh, you can’t miss it The crazy professor, which airs tonight at 9.15pm on TwentySeven. In a sort of way retelling of the history of Doctor Jeckyll and Mr. Hidethe film tells the story of an overweight professor (Eddie Murphy) who, thanks to his studies and experiments, manages to create a thin and self-confident alter-ego (always Eddie Murphy). Although at first everything seems to be going well, the protagonist soon realizes that he has freed a creature that is dangerous for his career and his reputation.
Smokin’ Aces
Another film not to be missed on TV tonight is Smokin’ Aces, available at 9.23pm on Mediaset channel 20. This is a brilliant action comedy starring the actor Andy Garcia as the deputy director of the FBI who sends his best agent (Ryan Reynolds) to act as bodyguard for Buddy Aces Israel (Jeremy Piven), along with veteran Donald (played by the late Ray Liotta). Thus will begin a real manhunt at the hands of a boss whose mercenaries are willing to do anything to kill Aces.
I hate you, I’m leaving you, you…
Last advice on films to watch on TV tonight concerns I hate you, I’m leaving you, you… romantic and sui generis comedy with a bittersweet flavor which airs at 9.10pm on La5.
