One week from the season finale (scheduled for June 2nd), the penultimate episode of Domenica In, broadcast today May 26th, promises to be an unmissable event for Rai 1 viewers. Mara Venier will open the live broadcast with a large musical space dedicated to the Rich and the Poor, the iconic band that is experiencing a second youth after participating in Sanremo 2024 with the song “Ma non tutto la vita”. This will be a special opportunity to relive their greatest hits and listen their new single, “Air”.
Another significant moment of the episode will be the interview with Daniela Bongiorno, widow of the legendary Mike Bongiorno, on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of famous television host, born in New York on May 26, 1924. Daniela will share memories and personal anecdotes about Mike.
The episode will also see the return of Orietta Berti, who will present his new single “Una Vespa in 2”. Also, the actor Vinicio Marchioni, known for his role in the film There’s still tomorrowwill present his new book “Three Nights”, un Bildungsroman which explores themes of family and reconciliation. Space, then to another star of Italian music, Fornaciari sugarwho will talk about the start of his new tour in connection, “Overdose of love world tour“, and guitar in hand he will perform some of his big hits like ‘Diamond’ and ‘So Heavenly’‘. Furthermore, Mara Venier will open the doors of her studio too Pierlugi Diacowhich will be in prime time on Rai 2 next May 30th at the helm of “Beautiful Rai2“. Finally, the curtain on the penultimate episode of the season will fall with Ron Mossiconic actor of the soap Beautiful, who this time however will be a guest as a singer, to perform Sergio Endrigo’s song “I love only you“.

On the same day, at 5.20pm on Rai1, Francesca Fialdini will lead a new appointment Of With us… at Free Wheel. The program continues to explore inspiring and touching stories of famous people and everyday people. Among the guests of this episode Raf will be there, the singer-songwriter famous for his hit “Self Control”, who celebrates 40 years of career with a summer tour. Raf will share experiences and memories linked to his long musical career.
Francesco Facchinetti, a multifaceted figure in Italian entertainment, will be another notable guest. Facchinetti had a varied career as a TV host, singer-songwriter, DJ and entrepreneur. The actor Pierpaolo Spollon, known for his role in successful TV series such as “Doc-Nelle tue mani” and “L’Allieva”, will talk about his novel “Tutto non bene”. Angelo Mellone, journalist and writer, it will add an intellectual touch to the broadcastwhile Marco Baruffaldi, a young man with Down syndrome who fights bullying through rap music, will share his story of resilience and courage.
