Beijing Express 2024 has reached the final stages, but the new incarnation of the famous reality show on the road promises to keep viewers glued until the end with the highly anticipated semi-final which will be broadcast tomorrow Thursday 2 May exclusively on Sky and streaming only on NOW.
The four couples still competing they will continue their tiring race along the Dragon’s Route with only one objective, to gain the pass for the long-awaited final next week which, as always, will be led by the host Costantino Della Gherardesca and the special correspondent Fru. To separate the travelers from the final there are 233 kilometers, those that separate the eternal city of Kandy from the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka Mihintalethe route of the ninth stage of this unforgettable journey.
The four couples at the starting line of the penultimate “clash” are Damiano and Massimiliano Carrara “I Pasticcieri”, Maddalena Corvaglia and Barbara Petrillo “Le Amiche”, Estefania Bernal and Antonella Fiordelisi “Italia Argentina”, Megan Ria and Maddalena Svevi “Le Ballerine ”. The semi-final promises to be very fierce: Competitors will shoulder their backpacks in the city of Kandy and immediately, at Royal Palace Park, discover a traditional local dance used to invoke supernatural spirits. Mile after kilometre, they will have the opportunity to train their mind, discover Ayurvedic remedies and learn about the long dynasty of rulers at the Ancient City of Polonnaruwaa former mercantile and religious center which today preserves the remains of ancient palaces and temples, an archaeological site that is a World Heritage Site.
