It is one of the signs that we are approaching the end of the TV season: let’s talk about the conclusion of The Ladies’ Paradise 8 which, after 160 daytime episodes, is preparing to greet the public in view of the summer, meeting in September with the new episodes of the ninth season. This year, however, for fans of the all-Italian soap set in the sixties in Milanthere will be a surprise: a rewatch, again in daytime, of the origins of the series.
When does Ladies’ Paradise 8 end?
Let’s start with the date of the final of Il Paradiso delle Signore 8: episode 160, the final one of this season, will be broadcast Friday 3 May 2024. The season, therefore, ends as per tradition in the first week of May, confirming itself as one of the products Rai to close first.
A closure earlier than other productions (such as talk shows, fiction and various programs) but necessary: the production of an episode of Il Paradiso delle Signore requires such time and effort that, to ensure that the organizational machine in view of the next season is already operational in the summer, the necessary break for crew and cast must take place before.
In fact, it must be taken into account that, in order to be on air in mid-September with the new episodes, the set reopens already at the end of May: here, then, Il Paradiso delle Signore 8 closed the sets around the end of January, allowing those who works to take a well-deserved vacation, but also work on other projects.
What will be broadcast instead of Il Paradiso delle Signore?
Since May, therefore, an important slot has remained free on Raiuno, the one that works from 4.00pm to 4.55pm about. How to occupy it? If during the past months, in the days in which the soap was not broadcast (on the occasion of some special anniversaries and holidays), it was decided to extend La Volta Buona, this will not be the case for the month of May.
In fact, from May 6th, Il Paradiso delle Ladies will be replaced by… Il Paradiso delle Ladies. You read it right: Raiuno has decided not to completely interrupt the connection with the fans of the series and to propose again the second season of the series, the last one to air in prime time before the transformation into a daytime program.
Every day, always from 4.00 pm, an episode of Il Paradiso delle Signore 2 will be broadcast, originally broadcast in the autumn of 2017. We will therefore see the characters then protagonists of Teresa (Giusy Buscemi) e Peter (Giuseppe Zeno), but also Andreina (Alice Torriani), the Venuses Anna (Giulia Vecchio), Silvana (Silvia Mazzieri), Joy (Sara Cardinaletti), Irene (Margherita Tiesi) e Federica (Giorgia Masseroni), the chief clerk Clara (Christiane Filangieri), the warehouse worker Corrado (Marco Bonini) and the treacherous Bruno Jacobi (Alessandro Averone). And obviously, Vittorio Conti (Alessandro Tersigni), a character present since the first season of the series.
The second season has twenty episodes: Raiuno will broadcast them from Monday to Saturday for five weeks, with the broadcast of the season finale (the one which, in fact, closes Teresa and Pietro’s storylines) scheduled for on May 31st.
When is Il Paradiso delle Signore 9 broadcast?
With filming starting around the end of May, it is conceivable that Il Paradiso delle Signore 9 will air in September, inaugurating Raiuno’s autumn TV season. There is no date yet but, if the timing of previous years is respected, the doors of the most famous department store on Italian TV will reopen around mid-September.
