Instead, the boy born in 1987 with an exceptional attitude managed to get back on track, taking away the satisfaction of recording the third longest jump in the history of ski jumping. In fact, traces of her had gone missing in October, with ex-wife Veronika Hajkova telling Czech website Blesk in November that her contacts with her husband had ended in the spring of 2022, when the couple separated: “We haven’t lived together since March and have only been in contact through divorce papers. I only learned of her departure when she was reported missing.”

Hajek has lost track of him, also worrying friends, family and associations related to skiing. A police spokeswoman told TVP Sport: “The man gives no sign of being alive. We’re still working on the case. What we can confirm is that the last track of him was recorded in Malaysia. He was last seen there“.

The news of his death has been circulating in the past few hours, although apparently the boy had been deceased for some time according to the first tests carried out. According to a source close to the family in Blesk, his body was found in the sea near the group of islands of Langkawi. It is difficult to identify the body, also because apparently he did not have any documents with him. The source said: “The family received information from the local authorities that the sea was very rough at the time.”. The boy who loved surfing very much, according to what was found after the discovery, may have died several months ago. No further details on the incident were provided, although there are rumors relating to his problems related to not having accepted the divorce.
