RIETI – The Old Italy national team of Andrea Mancinetti and Renato Ciaramelletti (Rieti players in the second half of the seventies) won by dominating the 1st Mauro Fabrizi Memorial which brought tens of citizens of Oliveto Sabino to Rieti, represented on the pitch by one of his squad.

The first semi-final between the Old Italia national team and Oliveto Sabino saw the former win with a result of 6-0, while in the second, Football Amatori Roma prevailed over Roma Over 2-0.

After the matches, the group made up of the players’ families and companions met at the Valerio Restaurant in Santa Rufina where the managers of the Old Italia national team and the organizers presented prizes and recognitions. Andrea Mancinetti personally handed over the Cup won to Asd Oliveto. The president Carlo Metelli, the vice president Amedeo Crescenzi, the manager Sandro Loreti and the coach Sandro Piermarini were awarded.

A plaque named after Mauro Fabrizi was delivered to his wife Marina Di Battista, who was accompanied by her daughters Giulia and Francesco. Everyone also received a medal commemorating the event.
