The colors of summer illuminated the final of the 20th edition of the Coppa Italia Puntocuore Beach Soccer organized by the FIGC-Lega Nazionale Dilettanti. The 1,200 spectators present at the Beach Stadium in Torre Faro in Messina sublimated it with warm and passionate cheering. Catania FC took the tricolor rosette for the first time in its history by beating the reigning champions of Domusbet.tv Catania 5-4 after extra time. The match was beautiful, a compendium of the best beach soccer in the world.
Regardless of the result, the public was able to appreciate two courageous teams with a lot of imagination, two solid groups who honored the challenge thanks to the flashes of class from the many champions present on the sand. In Messina there were national beachers from all over the world, it couldn’t have been a banal final, and it wasn’t.

The Etna team received the trophy from the Councilor of the BS LND Department Fabio Nicosia and from the Mayor of Messina Federico Basile. The Provincial Delegate of the LND of Messina Leonardo La Cava and the President of the Sports and Entertainment Commission of Messina Raimondo Mortelliti delivered the medals to the players of the second place. A tribute also for the refereeing quartet by the Member of the Consultation of the BS LND Giuseppe Bosco. Also present was the Councilor of the BS LND Department Salvatore D’Augello.
On the sand, twelve national teams were the protagonists, players accustomed to winning a lot, the Italians Giordani, Josep Jr, Camillo Augusto and Percia Montani, the Brazilians Bruno Xavier, Caique, Rafael Padilha, Catarino, Farinha and Eudin, the Portuguese Jordan and Be Martins. Many of them have won European Championships, World Championships and all possible trophies with their respective clubs.
