As soon as they arrived on site, the firefighters extracted the injured driver from the cockpit of the ambulance. The latter was entrusted to the care of the 118 health workers and was subsequently urgently transported to hospital. The passenger got out independently and is in good condition. The driver of the car was also unharmed and taken to the emergency room as he was in a state of shock.
The Carabinieri, an ambulance from 118 and the local police of Rome Capitale arrived on site, and are currently investigating the case.
