A celebratory event for the new “Queen” line by Kartos inspires four great women. The Garden of Palazzo Guinigi shines again, completely restored, which today will be the setting for the presentation of the new line of Kartos products designed by the artist Sara Lovari. This event, entitled “Choose which Queen to be”, is part of the twentieth edition of Lubica – Lucca Biennale Cartasia, the largest world event dedicated to paper art, architecture and design.

The “Queen” collection was presented yesterday morning by the director of Lucca Biennale Cartasia Federica Moretti, together with Sara Lovari, Stefano Severi CEO of Kartos, the artistic director of the Biennale Emiliano Galigani and the representatives of the beneficiary associations. The line draws inspiration from four extraordinary women of the past – Luisa, Isabella, Dorothy and Amelia – whose lives have left an indelible mark on history. Sara Lovari, the artist behind this line, has created original works that represent these iconic figures, transforming them into elegant, eco-sustainable and deeply respectful paper products.

“The inspiration for this project comes from women – declared Sara Lovari – to find the courage, the union, to follow a dream, not alone, but in a group. In cohesion, therefore not only female, but also with all the rest”.

The collection entirely dedicated to the female world will donate 10% of the proceeds to four Tuscan associations: Pronto Donna, Nosotras, Frida and Non ti Scordar di Te. The event will be divided into three distinct moments. From 5.30pm to 7pm in the room adjacent to the Garden of Palazzo Guinigi, the emotional workshop “Create your Queen” will be held, conducted by Sara Lovari with the collaboration of Laura Luja of the Nosotras association of Florence. From 7pm to 8.45pm, journalist Marco Botti will present the art of Sara Lovari and moderate the discussion on the new “Queen” line. The event will end at 9pm with a musical networking accompanied by a female string quartet and an aperitif. This evening will offer the opportunity to see up close the works of Sara Lovari that inspired the “Queen” collection.
