SPIELBERG (Austria) – Max Verstappen resists the attacks of the McLarens and wins the sprint race (5th in a row) of the Austrian Grand Prix, preceding Oscar Plates and Lando Norris. The world champion, after regaining the lead of the race, began to hammer the clock, breaking away from the group and flying towards success.
Defensive race for Ferrari: Carlos Sainz (5th), after an excellent start overtaking Russell in 4th place, he had difficulty with the brakes and was overtaken again by the English Mercedes driver, while Charles Leclerc (7th), also the author of a good start (from 10th to 7th), was unable to undermine the two Mercedes and his teammate also causes temperature management (brakes and engine).
