Stranded on an island in the Adda: young people rescued by firefighters

Around 10pm on Sunday, the firefighters arrived on site with specialist water rescue personnel, after a fourth friend who was with them and remained on shore raised the alarm.

From an initial reconstruction, the young people had ventured onto the river, crossing a point of the Fara dam, without being able to return due to the swelling of the Adda. In fact, the change in water flow would have caught them off guard, preventing them from returning to land.

Recovered without consequences

The operations took place in a very short time, allowing the recovery of the boys, who were taken to safety without any particular consequences, given that their conditions did not cause any worries.
