After Donatello’s David, My land di Diodato also wins the 2024 Silver Ribbon as best original song. The song, from the film Laf Building directed by Michele Riondino, thus earning the recognition already achieved by What a wonderful life (David di Donatello and Nastro d’Argento in 2020). My landthen won the Ciak d’Oro for the Best Original Song category and the Amnesty International Italia 2024 Award.
At the moment, the artist is also among the finalists for the Tenco Plates 2024 in the top five for the best single song category always with My land. In the song, the celebration of the resilience and determination of the people of Taranto among the lights and shadows of a city fighting for a better future.
“I am very happy for this prestigious recognition, very happy that a song like this is receiving it My land, for everything it represents and means to me,” comments Diodato. “And I’m obviously delighted with all the well-deserved awards he’s receiving Laf buildingthis courageous first work by Michele. And while the summer tour continues, starting at the Temple of Venus, following the success of the live concert in Brazil, Diodato announces the release of the new single Much love, produced by Tommaso Colliva. Out on Friday 28 June, the song is accompanied by the official video clip recorded during the recent trip overseas.
